Rebirth in Become a Billionaire

The rebirth portal sits on your Become a Billionaire plot. You spend cash for rebirth points, the current run wipes, and the point upgrades stay. New players treat that wipe like a punishment. It is the main speed mechanic. This page covers when to press it, what you keep, how to spend points on Cash Boost versus Rebirth Buttons versus Gems per minute, and whether Infinite Rebirths is worth Robux.

If you have not filled a starter plot yet, finish Getting Started first. Rebirth is a multiplier on a working base, not a substitute for empty pads.

What a rebirth spends and what it keeps

Near the base you buy rebirth points with cash. The reset clears cash and the characters sitting on pads. It does not clear the upgrades you already bought with those points. After the wipe you walk back to Shop, buy cheap units again, and the Cash Boost on the Balance board makes each pad print faster than the last run.

Sportskeeda also noted that extra floors cost rebirth points. Floors is the elevator button on the left HUD. Unlocking a floor you cannot fill is a waste. Spend points on income first, then buy space when every pad you already own is occupied.

Gems in your wallet are not the same as the Unlock Gems +0/min upgrade. Wallet Gems persist as a currency for crates and merges. The per-minute upgrade is a point sink on the Balance board that raises passive Gem income. Do not confuse the two when you plan a reset.

Starting over, rebirth, merge, and crates

When to rebirth

Rebirth when the next Shop unit takes too long. That rule beats any published dollar target. If Tix Investor is several minutes away and your pads are already full of cheaper units, the portal is the upgrade. If pads are empty, buy Noobs or Business Bacons instead of resetting a hollow plot.

A useful check: estimate how long the next Shop row will take at your current cash per second, then estimate how long it would take to refill a boosted plot after a reset. Do not wait for Millionaire, Crypto Bro, or DJ just because a June 2026 list made them look like milestones. Those tiles ($2.5M / $3.5k s, $17.5M / $15k s, $250M / $75k s in that snapshot) move with patches. The stall is the signal, not the name on the tile.

Cash Boost versus Rebirth Buttons versus Gems per minute

The September 2026 Balance board shows four related rows:

• Cash Boost (0/100) climbing from 1x toward 2x. This multiplies money generated by characters on the plot. It is the default first spend.
• Rebirth Buttons. Extra buttons let you earn more rebirth points per visit, so later resets are cheaper in time even if each point still costs cash.
• Unlock Gems +0/min. Passive Gems. Strong once you have a merge plan or a crate you can actually place. Weak if you are still dumping Gems into Basic Crates you cannot use.
• Bulk Buy. Not a rebirth upgrade. It is a Shop convenience for buying several copies at once.

Early order: Cash Boost until the 1x-to-2x climb is doing real work, then a Rebirth Button when buying the next point is slower than filling the plot, then Gems per minute when you know you will merge or crate on purpose. That order is a heuristic, not a hidden formula. If Cash Boost is already high and buttons are cheap, buy the button.

Infinite Rebirths and other Robux

Infinite Rebirths is a Robux product. It does not skip the cash cost of points and it does not keep your units. It removes the walk-and-click tax so you can reset in a streak. Buy it only if you already rebirth on purpose and the portal animation is the bottleneck. Auto Collect (about 39 Robux) is a different product that picks up bills; it does not replace rebirth. Guard, El Gato, and Farmer are Robux shop units, not rebirth upgrades. Compare all of those on gamepasses before you spend.

Floors after the first few resets

Once Cash Boost is moving, Floors becomes the expansion lever. A second floor with no units is a museum. A second floor stuffed with cheap copies can beat one gold merge sitting alone downstairs. Unlock a floor when you are buying copies faster than you have pads, not when the elevator icon looks exciting.

Season sits next to Floors on the left HUD. It is a timed track. Do not spend rebirth points chasing Season cosmetics while Cash Boost is still near 1x.

First ten rebirths, spent on purpose

A practical first-ten-rebirths spend: put most points into Cash Boost until the 1x-to-2x climb feels real on the Balance board, add a Rebirth Button when buying the next point takes longer than filling the plot, and buy Gems per minute only after you have a reason to spend Gems on a five-copy merge or a crate you can wait out. Infinite Rebirths does not replace that order. It only removes the walk-and-click tax so the same spend happens faster. If a reset still feels slow after ten portals, the problem is empty pads or a Gem dump into crates, not a missing Robux pass.
